ICCA in NY
Wednesday, March 8, 2017. 6 – 8pm
Elizabeth Whalley, manager of The Inverness County Centre for the Arts, invites New York-area friends of the art centre and those wishing to learn more about it to an informal, social gathering at the Marbury artspace.
After successful 2015 and 2016 seasons, ICCA is poised to expand its programming and its base of supporters. We need your questions and ideas to help us shape a long-range vision for an independent and vigorous centre of the arts built on creativity and collaboration.
Stop in, enjoy a glass of wine, and be part of the discussion.
The Inverness County Centre for the Arts is a regional hub for the arts on the west coast of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia . Situated in the town of Inverness in an area famous for unspoiled beaches, vibrant music, visual arts, and world-class golf, the art centre houses a gallery, a performance space, a light-filled studio, and a gift shop. Exhibitions, concerts, workshops, and other arts-related events at the art centre celebrate the creative spirit of the artists of Inverness County as well as the work of artists from across Canada and the United States.
